Who we are
Born in Seoul, South Korea, he began his journey with distinguished service in the Marine Corps before pursuing academic and spiritual growth. In 1995, he became a master in Taekwondo in Boston, Massachusetts, and the following year, he enrolled at South Baylo University. There, he demonstrated leadership across diverse cultural communities, serving as student body president for the Chinese, English, and Korean studies departments in 1998. A lifelong Buddhist since the age of eight, he studied body-saving techniques under the guidance of monks at a Buddhist temple, deepening his holistic understanding of wellness. His expertise spans acupuncture, therapeutic massage, herbal medicine, meditation, and fever treatment. In recognition of his contributions, he received a prestigious President George W. Bush Award in 2006. Outside of his professional and spiritual pursuits, he is an avid scuba diver and instructor, finding balance and inspiration beneath the surface of the sea.
